It also comes with a lanyard loop to allow the user to attach it to a keychain, however, given the size of the flash drive, it seems like it would be impractical to attach to most people’s keychains. The red part of housing is a little bit stiffer than the black part while the rubber cap is a removable rubber cover which sits quite snugly and securely over the business end of the drive, so there is a very low likelihood of it slipping off and getting lose.
At the end of housing is a blue activity LED that lets you know that it’s working!
One minor concern is that there is no way to attach the cap to the flash drive while the flash drive is in use, making it easier for the user to lose the cap while the drive is plugged in. The Corsair’s Flash Voyager GT USB 3.0 is really durable and is offering out-of-the-box compatibility with all major operating systems including Windows, Mac, and Linux. First minor concern is that the Corsair Flash Survivor is little bulky, so when you plug it in your laptop (especially if you have a thin laptop, like Macbook Air or some other ultraportable laptop) it could lift your laptop from the table! Second minor concern is the size!
The big bulky Survivor may take up more space around your USB sockets so you might not be able to fit other USB plugs into the USB socket, or sockets around the socket you plug your flash drive into. Possibly if you have a limited area to fit your USB flash drive device!
The third and the last minor concern is that the hole for the key ring is on the cap, not the drive. So you have to be careful not to lose track of the cap.
